Neuenhof Outdoor Poo

Fancy swimming a few lengths, even in winter? Then head for Neuenhof outdoor pool, where you can enjoy swimming all year round. Due to the use of waste heat from the refuse incineration plant, the swimming pool is always warmed to a pleasant 26-to-28 degrees Celsius – it is one of the few outdoor pools in Germany to also be open over the winter months. 

Alongside the large swimming pool, there is a children’s pool, a small playground and a water slide. A small, yet excellent, restaurant is also available. Long lawns also invite to you indulge in a spot of sunbathing. More information can be found here on the website.

Good to know: The outdoor pool is surrounded by forest in a central location on the Sambatrasse in Wuppertal and can also be reached easily by bicycle.
